Have you been watching America's Next Top Model? I will admit it I like to watch the show while I work. I have it playing in the background. I can work through all the drama and talk, until the photo shoots. I am so fascinated watching what lighting and layouts they choose. Yeah, I know you were thinking I would be interested in the fashions (which I think are totally awesome/interesting), but for me it is all about the photography!
This last week's episode was highlighting the work of Make-up Artist turned Fashion Photographer
Troy Jensen. Troy creates some amazing glamourous looks and then gets to shoot these fabulous women in his make-up artistry and in his vision. He has a very color website that is chaulk full of make-up tips and ideas for the day and night out on the town.
Later the girls were lucky enough to have
Pamela Hanson photograph them in Couture. She is fantastic at Fashion Photography, but my personal favorite of her work is the Lifestyle (aka Candid) photography she captures. The images are quirky, fun and reveal personality. All things I try to capture in my own Lifestyle Photography.
I would love to spend a day in their shadows. If that happened to be when Troy is shooting Rachel McAdams or when Pamela is photographing for Vogue in Paris...that would be heaven!
